Using and Caring for Your Head Spa Attachment
In daily use the attachment works best as the start of a head spa ritual rather than a standalone gadget. Fill the built-in 1.5L tank, let the steam warm up for a minute or two, and run it before or between shampooing stages so the scalp and hair soften before the massage roller moves through. Position the client so the head rests fully in the basin — that is where the bed’s built-in headrest does its work — and keep the roller pressure gentle; the massage is meant to relax the scalp, not press hard against it. For longer sessions, add the removable neck cushion from our accessory range so the neck stays fully supported while the steam works.
Care takes about two minutes at the end of a shift. Switch the unit off, unplug it, and empty any water left in the tank so nothing sits stagnant between clients. Wipe the rim mount, the roller, and the surrounding basin surface with a damp cloth and a mild salon cleaner, then dry the roller before putting the attachment away. If your water supply is hard, run a citric-acid descale through the tank every few weeks to keep the steam path clear. Never submerge the generator and never pour water into any opening other than the tank, and let the unit cool for a minute before cleaning.
