How Certification Works Here
Certification at Nova is handled per model, not as a blanket claim. When an electric model is developed, the engineering file is reviewed and a production sample is sent for type testing at an independent laboratory. The test report and the Declaration of Conformity are then issued against the exact configuration we sell — frame construction, motor, wiring, and the voltage and plug variant for your market. That is why we always ask for your destination country: a 110V unit with a US plug and a 220–240V unit for Europe or Asia are separate configurations, and each carries documentation that matches what is actually shipped to you.
Requesting the paperwork is straightforward. Before you order, ask our team for the certificate and test summary for the specific model and voltage you need — we send these by email, and you are welcome to have your own inspector or retailer review them. For OEM orders the same process applies to the final configuration, including your branding and packaging, so the certificate still matches the product that reaches your customers.
What the Tests Actually Check
On our beauty beds and treatment tables the load test runs at and beyond the 300 kg rating with the frame fully assembled, because a welded steel base that flexes under a heavy client is a liability no commercial setting needs. Electric models then go through a 24-hour aging test, with the motors cycled continuously to catch early failures before the bed is boxed, plus a functional check of every switch and adjustment. Materials are inspected on the bench too: upholstery seams, foam density, and edge finishing are checked against the sample that passed type testing. Finally, each unit’s voltage and plug configuration is verified against the packing list, and the finished piece is photographed before the crate is sealed.

Can I see your certificates before placing an order?
Yes. Email our team with the model and voltage you are considering, and we will send the relevant test reports and Declaration of Conformity before you commit to an order.
Is every unit tested, or only the samples?
Both. Type testing at the laboratory covers the design, and every production unit then passes its own function, aging, load, and finish checks with a photo record before shipment.
Do custom colors or OEM branding change the certification?
No. Logo printing and color changes do not affect electrical safety, so the certificate remains valid for a customized order as long as the electrical configuration is unchanged.
